Smart idea here. It uses the heat of the fireplace to spin and emit the heat to the rest of the room. It hasn't been cold enough here to start a fire yet but when we do I am excited to have this little gadget blowing the heat into the room. It doesn't use any power, it just stands there. I bought the thermometer bundle so I can tell how hot the fire or my oven are.
